Aera Technology is looking for a Data Science Intern who’s ready to learn, innovate, and grow alongside a world-class team of data scientists and ML engineers.
Your Responsibilities
As a Data Science Intern at Aera, you will:

Work on challenging engineering problems that bridge data science and real-world applications.

Design and implement advanced machine learning models for scalable use cases.
-
Build core ML infrastructure, including distributed systems, model hosting, and inference pipelines.
-
Contribute to customer data science projects hosted on Aera’s platform.
-
Collaborate closely with senior data scientists and ML engineers to learn and deliver impactful work.

Receive hands-on training and mentorship to build your skills from day one.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
-
Passion for starting a career in Data Science or ML Engineering.
-
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or MCA/MCS (Pursuing or Completed).
-
Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming.
-
Proficiency in at least one programming language — Python preferred.
-
Basic knowledge of SQL and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or Keras.

Exposure to data analysis, time-series modeling, and data algorithms.
-
Knowledge of API development, Docker, and cloud basics.
-
At least one project hosted on GitHub, Heroku, or a cloud platform as a showcase of your work.
Good to Have:

Understanding of backend and database concepts (SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).

Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

Completed online courses (Coursera, Udacity, Fast.ai, etc.) on Data Science, ML Engineering, or MLOps.
