What You’ll Do
As a Frontend Developer at Deloitte, you’ll be responsible for creating scalable, high-performing applications that combine world-class user interfaces with secure, reliable backend integrations.
✔ Frontend Development (React.js & React Native):

Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable components.

Implement responsive, mobile-first designs for seamless user experiences.
-
Manage state effectively using Redux or React Context API.
-
Build cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
✔ Collaboration & Code Quality:
-
Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Work with UI/UX, DevOps, and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Write robust tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) using tools like Jest, Mocha, Cypress, React Testing Library.
✔ Performance Optimization:

Leverage tools like Webpack, Babel to monitor and improve performance.

Implement techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, memoization.
✔ Agile Development & DevOps:
-
Actively participate in sprints, standups, and retrospectives.
-
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
✔ Security & Advanced Tech:
-
Apply secure coding practices (JWT, OAuth, HTTPS) to safeguard applications.

Stay updated with emerging technologies like AI/ML and Blockchain for project implementation.
Required Skills

Strong proficiency in React.js (Hooks, Redux, Router, React Query).

Expertise in React Native for iOS and Android app development.
-
Modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid) and styling (Styled Components/Emotion).
-
Version control with Git and deployment automation with CI/CD pipelines.
-
Testing frameworks: Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Chai, React Testing Library.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana.
-
Agile/Scrum methodology with tools like Jira or Trello.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
-
Experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG).

Knowledge of GraphQL.

Building PWAs (Progressive Web Apps).

Familiarity with Micro-frontends and Isomorphic React.
