About NITI Aayog

NITI Aayog is the policy think tank of the Government of India, formed in January 2015 to replace the Planning Commission. It aims to drive India’s development agenda by promoting innovation, research, data analysis, and cooperative federalism.

To involve youth in this mission, NITI Aayog has introduced an Internship Scheme that allows students to gain real exposure to government functioning and policy formulation.

  • Work on empirical data collection, report writing, and briefing documents.
