Role Overview
As an ML/Data Scientist at Roots Innovation Labs, you will:

Study and enhance data science prototypes

Design and develop machine learning systems from scratch

Research and implement ML, NLP, and Gen AI algorithms

Build ML applications based on real-world business requirements

Choose suitable datasets and effective data representation methods

Run experiments, test models, and analyze results

Fine-tune models for performance and scalability

Train/retrain systems as needed

Extend and optimize existing ML libraries & frameworks
-
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI & ML
Education & Experience Required
You’re the right fit if you have:

A Bachelor’s degree (any relevant field)

0–4 years of experience in ML/Data Science

Hands-on ML/NLP or related experience
-
Strong understanding of data structures, modeling, and software architecture
-
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics & algorithms
-
Ability to write clean and efficient Python code

Familiarity with ML frameworks (Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Great communication skills and a team-focused mindset

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Practical experience with Large Language Models and related tools:
