Role: SW Test Development Engineer 1
Location: Bengaluru, India

Work Mode: Assigned Desk (Onsite)
As a Software Test Development Engineer at Dexcom, you will be part of a collaborative engineering group focused on ensuring software quality and reliability for critical health monitoring solutions used by millions of people.
What You Will Do

Participate in software requirements and design reviews.

Develop software verification plans, test protocols, and perform risk analysis.

Validate software configuration, UI behavior, and overall functionality.

Design, create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts (Java/Python).
-
Execute verification plans and detailed test protocols.
-
Log issues using bug-tracking systems and follow up with dev teams.
-
Analyze test failures, investigate root causes, and coordinate solutions.
-
Prepare detailed test reports and communicate progress to management.
-
Follow internal development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures.
-
Update and modify test protocols based on evolving requirements.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
What Makes You a Great Fit

Strong understanding of iOS and Android platforms.

Hands-on experience building automated test scripts using Java & Python.

Ability to maintain test plans, traceability matrices, and test reports.

Knowledge of debugging mobile apps, collecting logs, and generating bug reports.

Experience with Linux/Mac terminal commands and ADB.

Familiarity with mobile automation tools:

Experience with Git, Git commands, and repository management.

Understanding of defect lifecycle and tools like Jira.
