Application Process

Step 1: Sign up on the TCS NextStep Portal
Step 2: Verify details as per Aadhaar (ensure all details are accurate to avoid disqualification).
Step 3: Register and apply for TCS B.Sc Ignite and Smart Hiring – Batch of 2026.

• Scenario A: Existing users – Login → Complete the form → Click “Apply for Drive”

• Scenario B: New users – Register → Choose IT category → Fill details → Click “Apply for Drive”

• Step 4: Choose In-Centre Test Mode, select your preferred test centre (cannot be changed later).

• Step 5: Confirm your application status under Track Your Application → Should show “Applied for Drive”.

Note:

• Seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Once a city’s slots are full, it cannot be selected again.

• All communication will be sent via TCS iON, the official test provider.

- Duration: 120 minutes (In-person test)

Eligibility Criteria

 Courses & Disciplines:

- 3-year full-time graduates from BCA, B.Voc (CS/IT), or B.Sc (IT, CS, Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cybersecurity, Biochemistry).

- Academic Requirements:

• Minimum 50% aggregate in 10th, 12th/Diploma, and Graduation.

• Maximum 1 active backlog allowed during selection. Must clear all before joining.

• Total academic gap ≤ 24 months with valid documentation.

• Only full-time courses accepted (NIOS eligible if other courses are full-time).

• Age Limit: 18–28 years.

- Work Experience:
Entry-level role; any prior experience must be declared with proof.

- Selection Integrity:
Candidates found ineligible or with misrepresented data will be disqualified at any stage.
